Most of us have a bunch of lipsticks in our beauty bag, some that we wear all the time, some that never get touched.  There’s a reason for that. You may have fallen in love with a lipstick in the store or on Deepika Padukone or Kareena Kapoor's  face, but when you put it on yourself? It just doesn’t work. 

That’s likely because the lipstick color clashes with your skin tone. We spoke to celebrity makeup artist Sheela N Kishore, to suss out tricks for finding a lipstick that works with your complexion.

Red Lipstick & Skin Colour

                      RED lipstick आपकी त्वचा के अनुसार 

RED  LIPSTICK  के चुनाव से पहले त्वचा की रंगत का ज्ञान होना महत्वपूर्ण है.

                       1. अगर आप की त्वचा का रंग गोरा है -Coral Red आपके लिए सबसे बेहतरीन रंग है 

If you have Fair Skin

Coral-y reds look most beautiful on you; they add a shot of color but aren’t overpowering.

               2 . अगर आप की त्वचा का रंग मध्यम गोरा है- Pink-Cranberry आपके लिए बेहतरीन रंग है

If you have Medium Skin

Anything from true red to-cranberry shades will work well with your golden undertones.

                     3 . अगर आप की त्वचा सावली है - Rich Deep -Burgundy  आपके लिए बेहतरीन रंग है 

If you have Dark Skin

Stick with deep, rich colors like burgundy or warm brick—superbright ones can seem too harsh.

Go easy on shine.
